Share Savings Accounts: How
do I open my share account?
 A
valid Illinois drivers license or Illinois State ID card
with current address.
Cash or check for at least $5.00, which will be
deposited to start your Share Savings Account.
Once we open your Share Savings Account, you are
eligible to participate in any of our other services

 Special
Savings Accounts: A separate sub-account for your
special needs.
Where do you keep your 3 month supply of liquid assets?
At least some of it should be in a place that is readily
accessible, but still earns a good rate of return. It
should also be insured by an agency of the U.S.
Government. A DeKalb County Credit Union share account
meets all of those criteria.

 Christmas
Clubs:
Special account to save for Christmas expenses. Account
can be opened any time of year. Member sets
contribution level. Contributions can be made through
payroll deduction or direct deposit. Funds are mailed to
your home the first Wednesday of November.

 Vacation
Clubs:
Special account to save for vacation. Account can be
opened any time of year. Funds are available for
withdrawal any time of year.

 Loan
Insurance:
Member-Pay Life & Disability Insurance is available on
loans up to $30,000.00
|
 Vehicle
Loans:
 New
and Used Cars, Trucks, Vans and SUV's Boats
Motorhomes
and Recreational Vehicles
Motorcycles

License Plate Stickers:
Very
convenient, NO WAITING IN LONG LINES!!! Just a
$5.00 service fee.

 Direct
Deposit:
DeKalb County Credit Union can accept any electronic
direct deposit, whether from a government agency or your
employer. Account numbers and the credit union's routing
and transit number must be verified before processing
direct deposit.

 Payroll
Deduction:
Automatic deposits can be made to your account(s) from
your paycheck if your employer is signed up for this
program. Ask your payroll department today how to sign
up.
